Todd Gill spent 19 seasons in the NHL. An offensive blue liner, he was in and out of the Maple Leafs lineup until 1986. Playing for the Leafs for 10 years, his best season was 1992-1993 when the Leafs made a famous run to the conference finals, and Gill had 43 points himself. After various stops in St. Louis, Phoenix, Detroit, Colorado, and Chicago, Gill wrapped up his playing career in the German Oberliga. In retirement, Gill became a junior hockey coach, coaching the Brockville Braves of the CJHL from 2005 to 2011 and the OHL’s Kingston Frontenacs from 2011 to 2014.
