Daniel Winnik played 11 seasons in the National Hockey League, appearing in 798 career games after being selected in the 9th round (265th overall) of the 2004 NHL Draft by the Phoenix Coyotes. A versatile and dependable two-way forward, he built a reputation for his work ethic, hockey intelligence, and ability to contribute in all situations, including his time with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Following his NHL career, Daniel continued his professional career in Europe, winning a National League (NL) championship with Genève-Servette HC. He was also selected to represent Canada at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing as a member of the Canadian Men’s Olympic Team.
