Andrew the two-time Stanley Cup champion was born in Belleville, Ontario and was selected in the 2011 NHL Draft by the Chicago Blackhawks. Prior to joining the NHL Shaw played in the OHL for the Niagara IceDogs for two seasons and the Owen Sound Attack for a season. He made his NHL debut for Chicago in the 2011-12 season and played for Chicago for 5 seasons before being traded to the Montreal Canadiens for 2 seasons. To end his playing career he was traded back to the Chicago Blackhawks to play 2 more seasons. In Shaw’s NHL career, he was an aggressive player and was known for his agitator playing style, he played 544 games and collected 116 goals, 131 assists, 247 points and 573 pim.
