This series is hosted by Mayor Patrick Brown and friends and offers hockey enthusiasts the chance to play in a tournament, as well as the opportunity to attend an exclusive VIP Draft Party the evening before, where each team will draft an NHL alumnus onto their team.
You don’t need to be a superstar to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play with former NHL greats! This is your chance to play with friends, family, colleagues, and some of hockey’s greatest players. Have fun and raise money for children and youth with physical disabilities across Ontario. After an incredibly successful debut, we’re thrilled to announce that the Women’s Division is returning to the Brampton Celebrity Hockey Classic in 2025! Thanks to overwhelming enthusiasm from last year’s players and fans—and the continued rise of the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL)—we’re bringing back this dynamic division for another unforgettable season. Once again, players will have the opportunity to draft and skate alongside some of the top names in women’s hockey. And just like before, the team that raises the most funds will earn the coveted first draft pick!
We’re proud to continue growing this vibrant and inclusive community. Whether you joined us last year or are stepping onto the ice for the first time, this is your chance to be part of something truly special—a movement that celebrates the game, empowers women, and supports kids with physical disabilities through Easter Seals Ontario. Come meet the alumni, browse the silent auction table, put your hand up for one of the amazing live auction items, and enjoy the excitement of the draft selection. Spend the rest of the night getting to know your new NHL teammate!
All-Star Game
This year, we’re excited to add an exclusive All-Star Game to the Celebrity Hockey Classic lineup. So, how do you secure a spot? It’s simple: be one of the top 12 fundraisers in the tournament, and you’ll earn the incredible opportunity to hit the ice against hockey’s biggest names! Not only will you play alongside the NHL greats, but you’ll also receive a special edition All-Star jacket with a custom logo to show off your achievement.
VIP meet and Greet
Added to this already amazing night you have the opportunity to have a meet and Greet with your favorite NHL Alumni. This private event will only offered to Sponsors and members of the $2,000 club. How do you became a member of the $2,000 club by raising a minimum of $2,000 in donations.
Registration
Each team is responsible for a registration fee of $1,500 and a fundraising minimum of $10,000.
There are a limited number of team spots available for this once-in-a-lifetime hockey experience, so get your team registered and start asking your friends to pledge their support.
The Brampton Celebrity Hockey Classic team experience includes:
- VIP Draft Party.
- Personalized team jerseys and socks in corporate colours.
- NHL great on your team and in your dressing room sharing their NHL experiences.
- Two or three games of hockey.
- Lunch, snacks and water provided.
