Three-time Stanley Cup Champion, Patrick Sharp, began his NHL career being signed to the Philadelphia Flyers in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft after two years with the University of Vermont. He would go on to be traded to the Chicago Blackhawks in 2005, where he was an integral part to three Stanley Cup championships 2010, 2013, and 2015. Patrick also represented Canada in the 2014 Winter Olympics, winning a gold medal in the process. He was a crucial part of the Blackhawks’ success, while also earning numerous individual recognitions, highlighted by his MVP performance at the 2011 NHL All-Star Game. Sharp was traded to the Dallas Stars in the 2015-2016 season, but returned to Chicago to conclude his playing career in 2017.. Since retiring, Sharp transitioned into broadcasting, working as an analyst for NBC Sports and a color commentator for Blackhawks games on NBC Sports Chicago in 2018 and became a coach for the University of Vermont’s men’s hockey team in 2021. Following his stint as a broadcaster and coach, Patrick joined the Philadelphia Flyers as a special adviser to hockey operations in 2023.
