Scott Walker hails from Cambridge ON where he current resides and is part owner of the Guelph Storm. His playing career began with Vancouver as they selected him in the 5th round of the 1993 NHL entry draft. He played 4 seasons in Vancouver before being selected as part of the NHL expansion draft by the Nashville Predators. In Nashville Walker was a dominant power forward and helped the team to their first playoff appearance in the ‘03/’04 season. A trade to Carolina followed in 2006 where he spent 4 seasons with the Canes. In the ‘08/’09 playoffs Scott Walker scored the game winning goal in OT to propel them to the Conference Finals. In the 2010 season he was traded to Washington and retired due to injuries after their loss in the playoffs. Walker was the assistant coach of the Gold Medal winning Team Canada at the 2015 World Junior Championships. He played a total of 829 games, 397 points & 1162 PIMS in the NHL.
